Job Description

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for creating sales ready opportunities by generating and nurturing a pipeline of qualified opportunities.


YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, research, and engage with potential new clients
  • Build relationships with prospects via email and phone to generate meetings and build a pipeline
  • Talking with prospects over the phone with a Consultative approach about their business issues, and generating interest in learning more about “why Emarsys”
  • Consistently and regularly use Salesforce.com to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity
  • Following established sales processes

YOUR PROFILE

  • Eager to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment
  • Must have a high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanor
  • Experience in a sales environment or service environment
  • Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and verbally
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Recent experience in software technology, marketing automation, eBusiness, CRM software a plus
  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations and competitive differentiation
  • Must have a strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices
