The role requires daily engagement and coaching and measuring the SDR's performance through meaningful activities, and working with sales leadership to ensure SDR-created opportunities are qualified and closed.
- Foster a culture that supports the sales development function across the organization.
- Responsible for ensuring the sales development team is delivering a repeatable and profitable pipeline.
- Drive connected marketing and sales strategies across all sectors, business units, and regions, ensuring these strategies are highly aligned and customized for the team.
- Lead the sales excellence function to develop a strong onboarding and continuous training process for the sales development function.
- Create a well-defined career path plan through the sales development function to sales and/or marketing.
- Analyze sales development performance analytics, reports, and dashboards to ensure KPIs are being met.
- Work with SDR leadership to create incentive/reward programs as well as improvement programs for sales development staff.
- Coach and develop sales development reps to be the best they can be
- 7-10 years of experience in sales development or related roles in the SaaS industry.
- Proven track record of building and scaling successful sales development teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Deep understanding of SDR processes and strategies.
- Deep understanding of sales development, outbound selling, and prospecting
- You are nimble, resourceful, and a creative problem solver.
- You embody a growth mindset.
- Sense of ownership for responsibilities essential to SDR team performance
