The Strategic Product Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic pricing models to optimize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness. This role involves conducting in-depth pricing analyses, evaluating market trends, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring pricing strategies align with business objectives. The Strategic Product Pricing Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and enhancing overall financial performance.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Design, implement, and manage pricing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to inform pricing decisions.
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop financial models to evaluate pricing scenarios, profitability, and cost structures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Pricing Optimization: Continuously monitor and refine pricing strategies based on performance data, customer feedback, and market conditions.
- Discounting & Promotional Pricing: Establish guidelines for discounts, promotions, and special pricing initiatives to balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure pricing policies comply with company standards, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting & Performance Metrics: Prepare reports and dashboards to track pricing effectiveness, revenue impact, and competitive positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or revenue management within [industry].
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with pricing software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to drive pricing strategies that impact business performance.
- Experience in Plumbing & Water Heating, Electrical & Energy Solutions, Building Automation & Smart Controls, Refrigeration & Cold Storage, Renewable Energy & Sustainability, Construction & Facility Maintenance or Appliance & Consumer Electronics
- Certification in Pricing Strategy or Revenue Management is a plus.
