Lumenal Lighting seeks a highly driven and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our Oregon team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the retrofit lighting market.

This is a remote position with frequent site visits required in your designated territory (primarily Portland to Eugene), providing an opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in the Oregon market
- Conduct on-site lighting audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy-efficient lighting upgrades and provide recommendations to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including facility managers, building owners, and electrical contractors
- Create customized value propositions and presentations to showcase the benefits of our retrofit lighting solutions
- Collaborate with our design and operations teams to develop and implement comprehensive lighting solutions that meet client needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Stay up to date on industry trends and developments in the lighting industry, and communicate this knowledge to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the lighting industry or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of electrical systems, lighting technologies, and energy-efficient solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to learn and use software platforms, including CRM systems, project management tools, and lighting design software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with electrical contractors, facility managers, and building owners
- Knowledge of construction financing and large-scale budgeting
- Experience with project management and account acquisition and retention
- Familiarity with ServiceTrade, FastField, or similar program

- Monday to Friday, with flexibility to accommodate client meetings and travel

- Remote with travel area primarily in the territory of Portland, OR to Eugene, OR and occasional travel to WA.
