Job Description
We are searching for an experienced Sales Representative for the greater Austin market.
In this position you will be approaching general contractors and subcontractors to sell them on our services of providing laborers to meet their temporary and long term needs. Most of the stakeholders/customers are in the construction industry, so having experience and/or connections in this industry would be extremely beneficial. Most beneficial would be having specific construction sales experience.
Responsibilities:
- In-person business development, account management, and client expansion for the Austin and greater Austin territory.
- Understanding and communicating the benefits of using them for labor needs
- Creating and updating project lists, identifying key decision-makers in target customers
- Establishing contact and cultivating professional relationships with decision-makers
- Presenting persuasive sales pitch to convince target customers to use their services for staffing needs
- Answering questions from potential and current customers when needed
- Preparing intake form for new customers and submitting to the office
- Preparing and submitting daily call reports
- Following up with current and potential customers to cultivate the professional relationship
- Attending sales meetings in the San Antonio office
Required and Preferred Skills:
- Enjoys working outside of an office 99% of the time (required)
- Has excellent verbal skills and interpersonal relationship skills. (required)
- Has reliable transportation to be able and willing to drive daily to visit new and existing local clients(required)
- Be comfortable calling on customers at construction sites (required)
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to close the deal (required)
- Have basic Excel skills and be comfortable using an iPad and iPhone, which will be provided by the client (required)
- At least 3 years of prior sales experience (required)
- At least 5 years of prior sales experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or its equivalent (required)
Compensation:
- $41,600 - 52,000 plus commission
- Annual compensation expected in the $75,000 range

- A pre-employment rug test will be required
