ACA Sales Agent - Remote Telesales

Peak Plans, a national tele-sales brokerage firm, is seeking experienced and highly motivated Licensed ACA Sales Agents.

We specialize in affordable healthcare products helping consumers across the country find the best plans to fit their needs.

Location: North Carolina/Florida/Texas/South Carolina/Pennsylvania/Arizona

(*Must live and have an active insurance license in resident state)

Onsite/Remote: 100% Remote within above states only

Duration: Full Time

Upcoming Start Date: May 6

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + sales incentives and bonuses

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to work as Licensed ACA Sales Agents. In this role, you will be selling / enrolling customers into the appropriate Insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound sales calls and create/execute outbound follow up calls managing a book of business.
  • Actively listen to identify customer questions and needs, utilize probing questions when necessary.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly sales goals and service levels. We are looking for top producers to join our team!
  • Deliver a consistently positive customer experience in a highly ethical and professional manner.
  • Absorb new information and have the flexibility to adapt to new processes rapidly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Active resident life and health insurance license, or ability to renew the license prior to start date.
  • Minimum of 3 years of strong sales experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working in contact centers (including outbound sales experience – cold calling).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience selling ACA healthcare plans.
  • Experience working with broker model (multiple carriers).
  • Knowledge of contracting restrictions as related to carriers and/or previous employers. Release documents are required if previously sponsored by carriers. Release documentation is required on day 1 of training.
  • Ability to successfully complete Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) for the current year. (Must be completed and documentation provided prior to start date.)
  • Desire to learn, ability to self-study, and a drive to succeed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, sales development and rapport building skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
