Job Overview:
As a Sales Operations Associate, you’ll play a vital role in optimizing our sales processes, analyzing data, and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Your focus will be to enhance our sales team’s productivity, maintain accurate sales data, and help drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management:
- Maintain and organize all sales-related documents, including customer contracts, pricing agreements, and product catalogs.
- Ensure timely updates to documentation and communicate any changes to the sales team.
- Reporting & Data Management:
- Create and manage regular sales reports, including sales performance, inventory updates, and customer trends.
- Track key sales metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports to the sales team and management.
- Sales Support:
- Act as a point of contact between the sales team and other departments, such as logistics, marketing, and finance.
- Assist with customer pricing updates, and resolving any internal documentation discrepancies.
- Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and customer communications.
- Order Processing:
- Collaborate with the sales team to process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates or delays to the appropriate teams.
- System Management:
- Use CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
- Ensure data integrity within sales tracking systems and help with system updates or migrations as needed.
- Sales Forecasting: Assist with the development of sales forecasts and pipeline management to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other teams to support cross-functional initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, administrative roles, or similar within the food distribution industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and work cross-functionally.
