Position Overview:
Custom Industrial Products (CIP) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Manager in developing and maintaining business relationships with large accounts. This role involves providing administrative support for our Powder Coat Division, researching new business opportunities, and managing various projects from initial sales contact to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales Manager in building and nurturing relationships with key clients and large accounts to drive business growth.
- Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Create and manage spreadsheets to track business development initiatives and report progress.
- Provide administrative support to the Powder Coat Division, ensuring smooth operations.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee projects from the sales phase through to completion, maintaining clear communication and coordination.
- Confidently engage with customers over the phone to provide information, address inquiries, and support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: Background in construction or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Highly proficient in a variety of software applications, including Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and especially strong in Microsoft Excel.
- Communication Skills: Strong phone skills and confidence in communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate tasks, and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
