Reporting to the Manager, VERD the incumbent provides full administrative support to clients and the Vehicle Recovery Division. The individual must be able to provide excellent customer service, self-driven, enjoy challenges, be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to use his/her own initiative and manage time effectively. This position works remotely from the employees' home.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review all documentation on new files daily.
  • DS and CS searches reviewed.
  • Distributing documentation to bailiffs and confirm receipt.
  • Communicating/updating client regularly, minimum every 48 hours.
  • Reviewing incoming bailiff reports for completion.
  • Track personal property when being stored and confirm disposal times.
  • Ensure all documentation is saved correctly and transferred to invoicing folder.
  • Basic skip tracing services.
  • Registering seizures, completing redemptions and handling appraisal files.

Skills, Abilities and Educational Background

  • Completion of high school or equivalency.
  • 3 years administrative experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Windows and general office equipment
  • Commitment to provide excellent client service with an open attitude to working with a diverse population.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

The following would be considered an asset

  • Collections experience
  • Skip Trace experience
  • Legal experience
  • Post-secondary education
