Position Summary

You are a true Hunter and enjoy the challenge of driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts. Role involves prospecting and identifying potential clients, understanding their transportation needs, and presenting our services as solutions to their logistics challenges.

Your primary focus will be to sell our over-the-road mode of transportation via our asset and non-asset (3PL) divisions and have excellent knowledge of open deck and closed van trailers. The chosen candidate will generate new business and help grow existing accounts. This role combines inside sales, account management, customer care and logistics all in one. You will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and closing new accounts in partnership with our Operational/Transportation and Logistics’ team.


As a self-starter, you will be in daily contact with potential customers working to sell and build strong relationships and existing customers to help grow the account.

Location: Brampton / Hybrid

Schedule: 40 hours Monday to Friday


What you will do

  • Identify new Regional, National and North American business opportunities. Prospecting via phone (cold calls), internet, dorman CRM accounts, referrals, trade shows and networking
  • Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling a diverse service portfolio
  • Acquire critical business information in order to present effective service solutions and competitive pricing to new prospects.
  • Visit prospective clients and present an overview of the company.
  • Partner with internal operations teams to create solutions based on customer needs, including appropriate pricing strategies, solution implementation and future customer growth.
  • Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations.
  • Work with accounting to set up new clients (credit, billing, instructions, etc).

What You’ll Bring

  • 3 - 5 years of experience within the logistics industry
  • Solid experience in a 3pl environment (asset and non-asset based)
  • Strong over-the-road and dry-van knowledge and courier knowledge
  • High school diploma, minimum
  • Working knowledge of over dimensional shipments
  • You are a true Hunter with a can do, don’t give up attitude!
  • Passion for sales, work ethic and a drive to succeed
  • You know how to get passed the gatekeeper and get to the decision maker
  • You’re a closer, with exemplary customer service skills.
  • Prospecting excites you!
  • Strong documentation skills with (CRM) software, like salesforce
  • Ability to build strong relationships and are a team player
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  • Willingness to travel, as needed
