Job Description Summary: The Revenue Operations organization plays a critical role in ensuring PayPal's Global Markets organization has the programs, processes, and insights in place to deliver exceptional experience for our customers across each stage of their journey with PayPal. Our charter has 5 core components: (1) to improve productivity through automation, making it easier for people to do more (2) to create efficient processes by eliminating friction, waste and improve experiences (3) to make the customer lifecycle more predictable through better measurement, global standards, data quality controls and proper instrumentation (4) to help business unit leaders optimize their rhythms to achieve desired outcomes (5) to establish and mature global programs to facilitate best practices and standards across the revenue lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data integrity transformation within the Global Markets teams, shaping data-driven decision-making processes, and supporting PayPal's larger data strategy. This position will work cross functionally with our analytics, product, and other internal data services teams to optimize business performance and enhance customer experiences.

Job Description:

You will be responsible to/for:

  • Define & govern a customer data hierarchy that enables efficiencies across the customer lifecycle and core planning activities
  • Drive initiatives to automate & streamline manual processes for our analytics & operations teams
  • Support initiatives that unify PayPal’s products, data, platforms, and M&A integrations as a Global Markets representative/steward
  • Make recommendations on how to improve Salesforce processes and Technology in order to minimize data quality issues
  • Define, document, & govern key performance indicators in coordination with cross functional partners in analytics, operations, & product
  • Establish data quality policies, procedures, rules & controls; monitor & report on performance & outcomes; and drive remediation of issues that arise
  • Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks to standardize and govern data across the Global Markets, eliminating discrepancies & ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide guidance & training to teams on data governance best practices that empower users to adhere to data standards
  • Analyze existing data workflows and systems, identifying bottlenecks & inefficiencies
  • Lead solutions to enhance data management practices & drive operational excellence

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data strategy, stewardship, governance, or operations roles, particularly within Sales and Customer Services organizations
  • Confident self-starter with ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and data-driven thinker with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and accurately summarize significant amounts of information to senior-level stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making with senior-level audiences
  • Enjoys “getting their hands dirty” digging into complex, ambiguous problems and identifying optimal solutions while balancing operational tactics and “big picture” thinking
  • Strong business acumen & knowledge of Sales and Servicing organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier accredited university; Master’s degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL, Salesforce, & Microsoft products
  • FinTech, SaaS, or relevant technology industry experience is preferred
