Job Description
The Medical Device Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales objectives through the promotion and delivery of the Wandercraft technologies to rehab teams in clinical and research settings and by the cultivation (identifying, prospecting and qualifying) of new and existing referral leads. The stakeholders to manage include (but not limited to) physical therapists, occupational therapists, therapy directors, physicians (PM&R & Neurology MDs mainly but also Critical Care MDs), research institutions and inpatient as well as outpatient neuro rehabilitation facilities.
Focused Territory: Northeast Region including the following US States: NY, NJ, PA, MA, CT, DC, DE
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Partnerships US, the Medical Device Sales Representative will be in charge of (non-exhaustive list):
Achieve Wandercraft revenue target and strengthen its undisputed leader position in rehabilitation
- Take ownership and leadership of the territory by building a regional deal pipeline and developing a conversion strategy to achieve sales targets
- Generate leads and build relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals mainly, but also clinics, sub-acute centers, research partners
- Convert leads to deals then sales within the territory leveraging all resources at hand : regular in-person visits, in-service presentations, visio-calls, immersive on-site demonstrations, conferences and events in and out of the territory
- Manage the end-to-end Sales process on-site with the prospects – from delivering presentations and coordinating with cross-functional teams to conducting on-site demo and closing deals with key decision-makers
Scale Wandercraft Operations and footprint with smart collaboration and ways of working
- Leverage collaboration with Market Access and Clinical teams to reach key decision-makers and administrators and lead a strategic approach with these stakeholders
- Leverage our Marketing team’s skills to outperform during customer visits, discussions, conferences and any customer-facing interaction
- Form a seamless duo with the Clinical Specialist affiliated to your regional scope to win as a team and excel at showing our professionalism & clinical expertise
- Use effectively and consistently on our internal communication platforms i.e. HubSpot, Teams, Monday and Microsoft apps
Contribute to improving Wandercraft brand awareness and image externally
- Develop and maintain high level of clinical, technical and product knowledge on all Wandercraft technologies by working hand-and-hand with Wandercraft product and marketing teams
- Represent Wandercraft at external events as speaker or exhibitor as needed
- Be research- and data-driven in execution and planning – leverage the tools available to strengthen your forecast and deliveries with accuracy, understand scientific literature related to our technologies, etc.
Profile
- Ideally based in the Northeast region of the US with the ability to reach New York at least once a week
- Clinical background or strong interest in neurological rehabilitation
- Highly motivated, results oriented with strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, driven to be the best
- Feedback driven, able & willing to learn & grow
- Weekly travel required
- Track record in achieving and exceeding sales goals in a complex environment (new technologies/markets)
- Valid driver license with a clean record
Clinical education and public speaking experience is a plus.
Diplomas:
- DPT or MPT degree in Physical Therapy preferred with an active license OR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Business).
Master’s in Business Administration in relevant field (e.g. Medical Sales, Medical Industry) is a plus
Required experience: 5+ years of medical sales experience and/or experience practicing as a physiotherapist
