Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This is a ground floor opportunity. The Business Development Representative builds relationships, generates and cultivates business leads and sets meetings for the outside sales team. As the first point of contact in the sales cycle, you are on the frontlines. We consider the BDR role essential to the success of our business as your contribution to the sales and marketing feedback loop significantly influences our go-to-market strategy. How you will make a difference

  • Respond to ‘warm’ inbound inquiries via phone, email and social media, etc., to qualify interest in our solutions.
  • Cultivates net new prospects and builds pipeline through outbound prospecting efforts (identifies targets, prepares for prospecting, handoff to sales).
  • Partner closely with highly experienced Account Executives to come up with and execute effective campaigns
  • Achieves daily, weekly, and monthly scorecard metrics such as calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals.
  • Conducts market research to be followed up by the Territory Managers in the field.
  • Continuously learn our applications/value proposition/differentiation in order to enhance conversations.
  • Responsible for entering data into our customer relationship management software.
  • Account Executive advancement opportunity for those that prove themselves.

What it takes

  • Excellent phone voice, manner, written, and verbal communication skills, with prior sales experience or solution selling experience desirable.
  • Ability to field questions from prospects about the company and its products and services.
  • Ability to identify and understand the prospect’s business objectives and communicate how we can resolve the prospect’s pain points.
  • Prior experience cultivating and managing existing leads in a sales pipeline through preliminary sales stages is a plus.
  • Desire for self-improvement and growth within a rapidly growing software sales organization.
  • Self-starter with resilience, persistence, enthusiasm and a competitive spirit.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A team player who collaborates well with others to achieve our shared vision and objectives.
  • Accountable to consistently hone their craft to achieve their personal goals and revenue targets.
  • Desire to earn outsized income.

What Could Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Marketing desired but not essential.
  • Have 1+ years of experience preferably in a BDR role at a technology company, if not a great attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
  • Are excited, self-motivated and competitive.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Some formalized sales training or personal interest in sales is a bonus.
  • Experience with any of the leading lead sales technology tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo/ Lusha, 6Sense).
  • Life goals and a hunger for success

This position is available both as a full-time and part-time role, based in our Tampa office. This position includes a strong base-pay, and both short and long term bonuses based on achievable metrics.

Pay: From $54,375.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
