Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Account Executive/Territory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will serve our existing and new customers in a consultative account management capacity. This position will collaborate with customers to achieve their business goals relating to training, safety and lowering risk. You will help customers optimize their use of ITI learning solutions and services. Success in sales and customer success at ITI entails the use of “value selling” – a consultative approach – as we aim to help our customers optimize their organizational learning and development strategies.
Responsibilities
  • Retain and expand new and existing customer accounts utilizing all of ITI’s learning solutions focusing on instructor-led training.
  • Actively pursue and reengage orphaned accounts who haven’t purchased ITI services recently and actively pursue any viable business within your territories.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders and managers in training, safety and human resource departments regarding their utilization of:
    • ITI Instructor-Led Training and Consulting Services.
  • Collaborate with team members on the following ITI Products and Subscription Services:
    • ITI Online Learning and Learning Hub Solutions - a learning management system with 2,000+ content titles and growing.
    • ITI VR Crane Simulator solutions.
    • ITI Simulation solutions.
  • Consult with key customer decision makers to identify business needs and determine if ITI can be a strategic partner for their organization's risk management and learning solutions.
  • Monitor customer goals and/or ROI so they can adapt ITI solutions to their unique needs.
  • Manage sales activities and tasks utilizing customer record management system.
  • Maintain a consistent book of business for assigned territories and grow ITI revenue and reach within the assigned territories.
  • Provide direct customer feedback to Product Management, acting as a partner for continued product improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future.
We are looking for people who have:
  • 5+ years of B2B account management or customer service experience.
  • Sincere customer focus who will strive to grow a relationship with their customer and ensure the customer is successful with our solutions.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with prospects and inbound leads to consult on best training solution for their organization.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries is preferred: construction, equipment rental, petrochemical, pulp/paper, or other heavy industrial sectors. Otherwise, a strong desire to work with customers in construction and heavy industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience or a strong passion to become a learning and development professional that can consult customers on learning strategies, content creation, training needs assessment, e-learning management, and more.
Compensation:
  • Account Executive – Instructor-Led Training: Base annual alary starts at $50,000 with On-Target Earnings of $65-120K.
  • Senior Account Executive - Instructor-Led Training: Base annual salary starts at $80,000 with On-Target Earnings of $115-140K.
Additional Compensation & Benefits
This position is eligible for ITI benefits including: Excellent health and welfare benefits package; 401(k) Retirement plan (with 3% guaranteed employer contribution plus up to 7% match); PTO ( starting at 3 weeks per year); Paid holidays and other paid leave such as volunteer pay, military leave, bereavement; professional development program; and Unit Appreciation Rights; expenses reimbursement; amongst other benefits.

  • Hybrid work option available following completion of training (regularly 80% in office or ITI assignment with occasional higher % at-home)).
