Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives through leads & referral sources.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Achieve sales goals through generating new business and cross-selling existing customers
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Networking etc.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements to maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management
Requirements
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license required within 30-days of employment.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
