Position Summary

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for driving operational efficiencies within Nestle Health Science Medical Nutrition sales organization. The incumbent will be expected to leverage their expertise in process and project management, business planning, customer engagement systems (CRM), sample management, forecasting, analytics and reporting to enable team effectiveness and overall business growth.

A day in the life of a Sales Operations Manager

  • Be responsible for deploying, embedding, reviewing, and adapting relevant sales processes and tools in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to enable the sales team to work effectively (examples: sales planning, sample management, sales support tools).
  • Collaborate with SLT, SFE team and Global Commercial Execution team to identify, implement and improve on CRM capabilities to drive efficiencies in business planning and execution.
  • Drive effective CRM adoption, including training, set up, territory and account alignment. Work with Marketing to deploy CLM, Approved Emails, surveys, and other functionalities within CRM to enhance effectiveness.
  • Sustain and improve sales business planning processes (examples: Territory business planning, MCCP, customer segmentation).
  • Implement and ensure proper functioning of systems/tools that increase operational efficiency of the sales force. (examples: Veeva CRM, iPads, Sample Inventory systems, Learning & Development tools like ACHiiVE and GROW, SharePoint)
  • Collaborate with SFE Lead and other stakeholders to develop and deploy Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), SIP tracker, and sales execution targets that will motivate and drive the sales team to achieve set business goals and bonus.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional processes to gain insights and take feedback related to the development, implementation and use of sales operations tools and processes (including SFE SPC Team).
  • Ensure expectations of the role are achieved in line with relevant NCI and NHSc policies and processes, including completion of required trainings within stipulated time frame.


What will make you successful?

  • Post secondary education in a science or business-related field.
  • At least 2 years of successful sales or sales operations experience (background in health and wellness, nutrition, or supplements is an asset).
  • A strong drive for operational efficiency to enable sales executional excellence.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and influencing teams to achieve business goals.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management and exceptional prioritization abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication and presentation.
  • Certification in Project Management/ Lean Sigma an asset.
  • Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
