Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative at Zymo Research, you will be an essential part of our team, working directly with the MiDOG Director to support the growth and success of MiDOG’s All-in-One Test diagnostic tool. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for veterinary medicine, who is eager to develop their sales career and make a meaningful impact on animal healthcare.
You will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, maintaining relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in the veterinary diagnostics sector. If you have experience in the veterinary field and a drive to excel in sales, we invite you to join us!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the veterinary diagnostics market.
- Manage and follow up on marketing leads and customer inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and other key accounts.
- Collaborate with the product and services teams to gain a thorough understanding of MiDOG’s offerings.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and trial kits to prospective customers.
- Engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings to present MiDOG’s diagnostic solutions.
- Support the sales process by coordinating with different departments, including marketing and customer support.
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to network, learn, and promote MiDOG’s products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system (NetSuite).
- Prepare and present sales reports to the management team.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Veterinary Science) or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the veterinary or medical diagnostics industry.
- Familiarity with veterinary medicine or diagnostics is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% of the time.

Compensation:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
