Territory Sales Representative – San Diego Area
Job Summary:
Peerless Coffee & Tea is celebrating our 100 anniversary this year and still growing! We are looking for talented and energetic sales professionals to join our dynamic team. If you have a proven track record of hunting and selling into foodservice, we would like to talk to you. The role will be positioned in San Diego area and will be responsible for managing an existing customer portfolio as well as hunting new business opportunities within craft coffee and hospitality businesses.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience selling in a specialty foodservice environment.
- Strong, collaborative, relationship-building, analytical and proactive problem-solving skills. Proficient at closing sales through existing relationships, warm leads, and cold calls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are required.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. CRM experience a plus.
- Ability to interact effectively all levels of staff from wait staff to CEO’s
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hunting and prospecting to seek out new relationships
- Organized and able to effectively manage a potential customer funnel of targets
- Coordinate and execute training and marketing project support for Peerless accounts.
- Keep current with and educate potential customers on latest specialty coffee trends
- Have a proactive mentality for setting sales goals and closing accounts.
