We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing and construction sales and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This position requires a proactive approach to territory management and the ability to effectively upsell products and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in your assigned territory.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize effective account management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services to enhance client value.
- Collaborate with the other members of the sales team to coordinate efforts and maximize sales potential.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that highlight product features and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position our products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or related field, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with roofing sales processes and the ability to understand complex product specifications.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
- Strong upselling skills, demonstrating an understanding of how to enhance customer value through additional offerings.
- Proficient in using sales software and CRM systems for tracking leads and managing customer relationships.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
