We manufacture, fabricate, and distribute a wide range of products including Bar Grating, Perforated Metal, Wire Cloth, Fiberglass Grating, Grip Strut®, Perf-O Grip, Roof Deck and Expanded Metal. We also offer a full line of engineering and fabrication services. Each of our service centers stocks an extensive inventory offering Same Day Shipments and maintains a broad array of equipment allowing for Same Day Fabrication Services.

Brown-Campbell Company is looking for an Outside Sales / Branch Manager to lead and develop our team at our Memphis, TN location. This dynamic opportunity is ideal for an energetic, personable, and self-motivated individual who is seeking a position with variety. You will be responsible for leading, directing, and overseeing all outside sales and warehouse activities for our growing Memphis service center.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales growth by developing relationships with existing and potential customers throughout the Memphis territory. A minimum of three days per week on the road making sales calls on customers is expected and some overnight travel will be required.
  • Work with inside sales team, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requests for pricing and product information, and the follow-up of quotes and sales leads.
  • Responsible for directing and overseeing warehouse personnel and warehouse operations including safety, shipping, receiving, inventory control, preventive maintenance, training, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Ensure and maintain superior customer service standards through on-time deliveries of quality products and satisfactory resolution of customer issues.
  • Ensure all branch operations and procedures are consistent with corporate standards, guidelines, and objectives, and that this is achieved through delegation and by assisting branch personnel.
  • Take the initiative to develop, recommend, and implement improved inside sales and warehouse practices to promote safety, efficiency, faster lead times, lower costs, and increased sales.

Education and Experience

  • College degree in Business preferred.
  • Inside and outside sales experience and industrial management experience preferred.

Qualification Requirements

  • Ability to lead, supervise, and develop warehouse personnel.
  • Ability to work with inside sales team; develop, execute, and evaluate sales growth strategies.
  • Strong organizational abilities; know how to manage time, set priorities, and delegate to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in business math, Word, and Excel.
  • Attention given to accuracy and details.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Available to travel overnight

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,992.00 - $101,648.00 per year
