Overview:

Our Intelligent Grid Solutions business unit provides technology consulting, implementation, products and managed solutions to support digital transformation. We are seeking a Sales Operations Director to support the rapid expansion and scaling of this business. This role will be a critical part of optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of our sales processes to drive outsized revenue growth. You will be responsible for supporting the sales organization in implementing strategies to improve sales performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record helping scale a Sales organization. The role reports directly to the Head of Sales of the Intelligent Grid Solutions Sector and will play a critical role in ensuring success in our next phase of growth.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Insights

  • Sales Strategy: Along with Head of Sales, leverage market and competitor intel combined with internal analysis to devise data-driven sales strategy.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to gather, analyze, and interpret sales data. Generate insights into sales performance, trends and opportunities. Develop actionable recommendations for the Sales team and Practice Leadership based on data analysis.

Operations

  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate the current sales processes to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with the Sales Team to streamline workflows, enhance overall efficiency and implement best practices.
  • Sales Technology Management: Oversee the improvement of sales tools and technologies, including Salesforce. Provide training and support to the Sales Team, Practice Leadership and Client Success Directors on the effective use of Salesforce, sales automation tools and other relevant technologies. Stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously improve sales operations.
  • Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with Head of Sales to develop accurate quarterly sales forecasts and targets. Monitor and analyze Sales Team performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement.

Team & Collaboration

  • Team Development: Develop and deliver trainings to enhance the skills and knowledge of the:
    • Sales Team regarding areas such as pipeline management, win rates, cost of sales and client intel. Provide ongoing support and resources to ensure continuous improvement in sales effectiveness.
    • Practice Leads and Client Success Directors regarding areas such as expansion opportunity identification and solution adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales Operations
  • Experience using Salesforce and other sales technologies
