Axis Chevrolet is seeking a motivated and dynamic BDC Sales Representative to join our growing team in Jersey City, NJ. As a key member of our Business Development Center (BDC), you will play a crucial role in generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales appointments for our dealership. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and text in a timely and professional manner.
- Appointment Scheduling: Proactively schedule sales appointments for potential and returning customers.
- Lead Management: Maintain and update the CRM with accurate customer information and lead statuses.
- Follow-Up: Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects and existing customers to encourage showroom visits and address any questions or concerns.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and optimal customer service experiences.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals for outbound calls, appointments set, and customer follow-ups.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and long-lasting relationships with customers.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and responding to high volumes of inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in automotive BDC, call centers, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in CRM software and basic computer applications.
- Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
- Bilingual skills are a plus (English and Spanish).
