This collaborative platform brings audio production into classrooms, helping students tell stories, create projects, and explore new ideas with professional-grade tools.
As an Account Executive at Soundtrap for Education, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our presence in K12 schools. In this role, you’ll identify and close new business opportunities, build and execute territory plans, and forge connections with district leaders who can leverage Soundtrap for transformative learning experiences. Your success will be key to Soundtrap’s mission of empowering educators and students through the power of audio creation.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business by closing sales opportunities and building relationships with K12 district leaders.
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
- Own a territory of around 10 US states.
- Prospect and cultivate new leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans to optimize outreach and engagement.
- Attend industry conferences and events to connect with key decision-makers.
- Work closely with your account manager to support expansion opportunities in your territory.
- Collaborate across internal teams to support the execution of business contracts, DPAs, and other agreements, with guidance from your manager.
Who You Are
- 4+ years of K12 sales experience with a successful track record of closing district-wide sales.
- A well-established network of contacts among school district decision-makers.
- A hunter mentality who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Engaging and compelling presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and marketing automation tools.
- Prior teaching or administrative experience is a plus.

- We are a distributed workforce, allowing each Soundtrap employee to find the work mode that suits them best - with the options of working from home or utilizing a Soundtrap co-working membership.
- This position requires 25% travel
