About the Position
Based out of our CSLA site in Burbank, CA the Technical Sales Representative will work with Cine Sales and Product staff to provide customers with sales-driven technical training and support. You will engage our client base through new and existing products and gather information on upcoming productions and their camera crews.
Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Your knowledge and enthusiasm for our broad portfolio of cinema products will drive customer engagement through personalized training, sales, and events you cultivate with support from sales and marketing departments.
- Lead customer demos not only to educate, but to collect valuable feedback that influences the direction of future product development.
- Placing our premier products into the hands of industry leading Cinematographers, ACs, and DITs and letting them put them through performance critical testing.
- Travel to support VIP customer training and attend trade shows domestically and internationally.
- Take ownership of leads, tasks, and sales projects to grow business in our global sales channel.
- Become a Salesforce expert creating an organized pipeline of forecasted sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM Cadences, Upgrade Programs, NPI launches, and sales promotions to close business.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative company culture with timely engagement in all comms.
- Maintaining awareness of the weekly and monthly sales forecast and striving to hit assigned targets through strategic customer outreach and consistent Salesforce practices.
- Cultivate personal relationships with our customers that fosters loyalty and direct business.
- Maintain awareness of reseller promotions as well as competitor product releases and sales.
- Performing CS Burbank sales and support related tasks and on site staff coverage as requested.
- Assist Burbank service team with in person customer troubleshooting and identify opportunities for upgrade sales
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates must have
- A passion for cinema equipment technology and interest in driving it forward
- Ability to relay complex technical specs and processes to less tech savvy clients
- Degree in Film, Cinematography, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent experience in relevant industry
- 2-3 years minimum experience with camera technology, products, and workflows
More Important Information for You:
- This position is based in the Burbank, CA office
- Reporting to Cine Inside Sales Manager
- This position full time, non-exempt
- Commissioned sales role carrying monthly quota assignments
- Schedule: 9 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday (travel hours vary)
- Some travel
- Salary Range: $22 - $27.00/hour + Commission
