Job Description
Sargent & Lundy is a global leader in power and energy consulting, where innovation meets integrity, diversity, and a commitment to quality. Your responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to, the following:
- Update and maintain software contracts, licenses, product information.
- Organize electronic and physical assets.
- Assist in procurement of software utilizing usage reports and license expiration dates.
- Assist in defining and creating reports for management.
- Change management process for software
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors.
- Assign software to users as requested.
- Participate in internal audits of users and software.
- Understand software upgrade cycles.
- Knowledge of basic software and hardware asset management.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with the expectation of 3 days in our downtown Chicago office and 2 days working remotely from home.
Qualifications:- Associates degree or combination of relevant coursework and work experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access and familiarity with .csv bulk loading.
- Software management best practices.
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
- Business analyst skills related to licensing models and usage reporting.
- Strong problem solving, collaboration and written/verbal communication skills, and desire to work closely within a team.
- Close attention to detail.
Preferred experience with:
- Knowledge of asset management
- Experience in quality assurance programs like ISO 9001
- Familiarity with project tools such as Microsoft Project
- Understanding of software lifecycle and software licensing models.
