Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and is one of the largest private providers of emergency medical services in the country today. Compensation: $80,000-$105,000

Position Summary:
Falck USA is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our network infrastructure, with a focus on hybrid domain setups, cloud migration, and stakeholder management. This will also include working on upgrades, changes and emergency patches as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Proactively monitor network performance and security.
- Identify and resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage network monitoring tools and protocols.
2. Network Security and Compliance:
- Collaborate with security teams to implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure network compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
3. Network Capacity Planning and Optimization:
- Analyze network performance and recommend improvements to maximize uptime and bandwidth.
- Plan for future network growth and scalability based on usage patterns and business needs
4. 4. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Work with our global team to develop and maintain disaster recovery and failover protocols for critical network functions.
- Regularly test network redundancy and backup systems to ensure business continuity.
5. Hybrid Domain Setup and Cloud Migration:
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid domain environments.
- Plan and execute on-premises to cloud migration strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between on-premises and cloud systems.
6. Intune MDM Management:
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM).
- Ensure compliance with security policies and manage device lifecycle.
7. Azure AD Administration:
- Manage and maintain Azure Active Directory (AD) environments.
- Implement and manage identity and access management solutions.
8. Process Flow and ITIL Processes:
- Develop and maintain network-related process flows.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
9. Agile Methodology:
- Work within an Agile framework to deliver network solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
10. Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address network requirements.
- Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
11. Communication:
- Provide clear and concise documentation for network configurations and procedures.
- Deliver regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and techniques.
- Strong experience with hybrid domain setups and cloud migration (preferably to Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune MDM.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Azure certifications) are a plus
Advanced Certifications: (optional but desirable)
- Include any highly regarded certifications for network and cloud technologies, like AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for network automation and process efficiency.
