Technical Sales Representative - GTA

*salary commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications

Main Responsibilities

· Develop business opportunities within the GTA territory

· Evaluate the potential for Building Automation System (BAS) project sales for both new and existing customers

· Collaborate with the management team to establish sales objectives and development plans

· Perform site visits to best advise the client with their technical needs in relation to BAS projects

· Prepare take-offs in order to submit proposals based on client meetings and site visits

· Prepare and lead customer presentations (engineering firms, contractors, etc.)

· Analyse retrofit possibilities as per client needs

· Ensure timely follow-ups (quotes, kick-off meetings, completion, satisfaction)

· Inform customers on new products and new service offerings

· Ensure project profitability

· Update the CRM with customer developments and specifications

· Participate in Energy Savings initiatives

· Stay up to date with knowledge regarding new products and technologies

· Attend training sessions given by suppliers and participate in industry meetings, seminars and trade shows

Requirements

· College Diploma in Building Systems, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field

· Min 5 years experience in HVAC controls or BAS

· Knowledge of IT/OT networks an asset

· Good knowledge of the current office software (Word, Excel, Teams, Salesforce, Outlook, etc.)
