About the Opportunity:
ASD is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students across Anchorage. We offer both full-time and part-time positions to accommodate your needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEPs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a cohesive learning environment that supports communication development.
- Document progress meticulously and accurately.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Alaska Type C Special Services Certificate with an endorsement for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in speech and language assessment and intervention for various communication disorders.
- Prior experience working with a diverse student population in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
