About the Opportunity:

ASD is seeking enthusiastic and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students across Anchorage. We offer both full-time and part-time positions to accommodate your needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEPs.
Provide direct speech and language therapy services in individual and group settings.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a cohesive learning environment that supports communication development.
Document progress meticulously and accurately.
Actively participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Alaska Type C Special Services Certificate with an endorsement for Speech-Language Pathology.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in speech and language assessment and intervention for various communication disorders.
Prior experience working with a diverse student population in a school setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment.
Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
