**Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Seafood Products**

**Location:** Remote (Must liver in the Fort Lauderdale or Miami area)

We are a leading supplier /processor of premium Canadian Lobster products, specializing in lobster and a variety of other high-quality seafood products. Our commitment to sustainability and excellence sets us apart in the industry, and we are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive growth in the vibrant Florida seafood market.

**Position Overview:**

As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with restaurants, restaurant chain head offices, cruise lines, and retail chains. This remote sales position requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can leverage their experience in the foodservice industry to expand our market presence and achieve sales targets. We are looking for someone who has a hunter mentality and doesn't mind cold calling to get your foot in the door. We have great products to offer the client but we need someone willing to be persistent enough to get to the right buyers and solidify orders / sales transactions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for targeting seafood restaurants, restaurant chains, cruise lines, and retail chains within the Florida area. This position can grow to other areas of the United States as well.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.

- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

- Present our seafood product offerings, emphasizing quality, sustainability, and competitive pricing.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to your customer base.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability.

- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and products.

- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in sales, preferably with a focus on restaurant chains and/or retail chains.

- Experience in selling seafood or protein products is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of the foodservice industry and market dynamics.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
