URGENT NEED! HIRING NOW! GEN Aspire, LLC dba Batteries Plus Bulbs is looking for an Outbound Customer Sales Representative for our office in Chesapeake.

As an Outbound Customer Sales Representative for Batteries Plus, you'll be proactively prospecting, engaging, and activating new customers in several industry segments to drive new customers to our Commercial Sales Reps and retail stores. The Outbound Customer Sales Representative will use this information to gain and grow commercial, store, device repair, and online sales for Batteries Plus.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Contact

  • Identify key decision makers in organizations to promote program benefits, communicate the company's value proposition, and secure a next step.
  • Support new commercial business through outbound prospecting calls to drive awareness in the local market, open business accounts and generate orders.
  • Solicit new business from existing customers, leads sent through internal referral mechanisms and targeted industry segments.
  • Achieve daily call goal expectations and track activity and customer interaction in the company CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Send customer referrals to Commercial Sales Reps for sales identified as part of the phone conversation.
  • Work on special projects as needed, that support customer sales and support.
  • Answer incoming calls related to Device Repairs (cell phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Close sales over the phones and make appointments at the appropriate store
  • Work with stores and technicians to keep updated on inventory levels and capacity for repairs

General Support

  • Coordinate between customers, store managers, and sales team to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and improve process management.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings
  • Stay updated with training and product knowledge
  • Train to be a certified device repair technician

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum 1-3 years inside/phone sales experience with a demonstrated success record
  • Working understanding of Microsoft Office and Google Suite and capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology. Experience in sales/customer service technology such as Salesforce is desired.
  • Ability to calculate algebraic expressions, percent's, ratios and measurements.

  • Excellent communication skills with pleasant and professional tone of voice. Passion for finding the right solution for the customer.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Must use considerable judgment in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
  • Highly motivated with minimal supervisory direction.
  • Ability to communicate concrete and abstract ideas effectively using both oral and written means; read and interpret technical documents such as operations manuals and specifications sheets; and make presentations to groups of employees, Commercial Sales Manager, or Customers.
  • Possess excellent prospecting, negotiating and closing skills
  • Process oriented, have the ability to execute BP commercial sales process, and follow directions; must be open to new ideas, coachable, and have a team spirit.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment. Ability to take ownership of a project, handle multiple projects/tasks and lead a project team to desired results. Strongly motivated with sense of urgency
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks; demonstrated ability to successfully meet project timelines and goals in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
