About the Company:
Our client is an independent accounting firm with multiple locations across the country providing audit, tax, risk, and forensic advisory services for entrepreneurial, public, non-profit, and individual clients. The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for providing support and aiding in the enhancing and deployment of new and existing technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, operate, and monitor the firm’s information security sensors
- Log/alert and use other detection mechanisms to identify and respond to threats
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies for suitability within the firm’s environment and security posture
- Communicate ongoing cybersecurity activities, priorities, and risk measurements or mitigations at multiple organizational levels
- Provide guidance for security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle and application development efforts
- Act as subject matter expert for assigned cybersecurity technology stacks
- Create and update security documents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience
- Experience with endpoint protection technologies
- Experience with network protection technologies
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, enterprise SIEM, and packet capture analysis toolsets
- Scripting and programming language skills
- One or more security related certifications
Salary Range:
$150,000-$175,000
