Job Summary

As a Solar Sales Representative with a leading solar provider in Western Canada, you’ll generate new business by educating potential clients about the advantages of solar energy. Your role will involve preparing customized proposals, choosing the right products, and designing solutions to meet each customer’s unique energy needs. Through your work, you’ll support the adoption of renewable energy, empower customers to make eco-friendly choices, and play an essential part in our mission to expand the reach of solar.
Position Overview:As a Sales Representative, you'll engage directly with homeowners to discuss the benefits of switching to solar energy. Your role involves making personalized recommendations based on clients' unique energy needs, conducting on-site assessments, and guiding customers through the sales process. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for renewable energy and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential clients to present solar energy solutions.
- Preparing documentation, gathering necessary client information, and scheduling client meetings.
- Answering client questions, providing product details, and addressing inquiries to build customer interest in solar energy solutions.
- Coordinate with your Sales Team to help meet sales targets and track progress, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct site assessments and collect information on customers’ electrical setups.
- Prepare customized proposals in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Achieve sales targets through relationship building and exceptional service.
- Proactively engage with local communities and potential clients through direct outreach to generate leads and increase awareness of our solar solutions.
- Develop a strong presence in target neighborhoods, connecting with homeowners and helping them understand the benefits of renewable energy options.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales preferred; training will be provided, experience in the solar industry is a plus, minimum 1 years experience
- Strong ability to learn and communicate technical information.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable with technology and using CRM tools.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
