SAP Functional Lead, Forecast to Schedule

This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the new S4/HANA landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building Solutions by utilizing the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives. We are currently looking for an innovative and driven Functional Lead to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a functional lead and product manager to deliver full solutions in the Forecast to Schedule functional area. (Demand, Supply, Inventory Optimization, S&OP, Materials Replenishment Planning)
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team which is responsible for analyzing, solutioning, configuring, and deploying in the areas of SAP IBP, PP/DS, and MRP.
• Collaborate with business and peers on the scope and design of desired solution keeping in mind current business need and future scalability.
• Act as the final level of internal troubleshooting for members of your team.
• Ensure proper documentation throughout solution development, configuration, testing, and training.
• Participate in continuous discovery of new solutions that will utilize the SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot.
• Participate with a small agile development team in a quest to rapidly deploy new solutions on the S4 and SAP IBP platforms using agile methodologies.
• Provide functional and technical presentations to business, peers, and solution architects within the IT organization.

Typical Education

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

• 7+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or IT Business Analyst in relation to manufacturing and logistics processes and underlying SAP capabilities is required.
• Proven knowledge of the SAP Fiori elements and how to drive standardization and re-utilization of elements in a quest to develop a common UX repository is preferred.
• Working knowledge of the new Fiori tools is preferred.
• S/4HANA experience is preferred (1809,1909,2020).
• SAP IBP experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products and when to utilize these patterns when enabling a business process is preferred.
• Good understanding of the development lifecycle utilization of SAP Solution Manager and how it will be utilized in a Dev/Ops environment is preferred.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development is required.
