Barracuda currently has an opening for an Identity Access Management (IAM) QA Engineer. This role sits within our Customer Success Engineering team. As an IAM QA Engineer at Barracuda Networks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for our IAM products, including authentication, authorization, and user provisioning. You will leverage your expertise in quality assurance methodologies and automation tools to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our IAM solutions.
Tech Stack:
  • Experience in automated testing frameworks such as Mabl
  • Experience in the Authentication Space
  • Experience or exposure to Agile/CI-CD/Jenkins/Git
What you’ll be working on:
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for IAM features and functionalities.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate the behavior of IAM solutions across different platforms and environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to define acceptance criteria and testing requirements for IAM features.
  • Conduct regression testing and performance testing to identify and address any issues or performance bottlenecks.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot reported defects, documenting and tracking issues to resolution.
  • Design and implement automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools such as Mabl.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Participate in the review and validation of IAM-related documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What you bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance/testing, with a focus on IAM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, LDAP, and RBAC.
  • Experience with testing IAM products and features, including authentication mechanisms, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies, techniques, and tools, including manual testing, test automation, and performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Washington State Only:
The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $105,000-$119,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
