The Sr. Analyst supports the Nestle Sales Organization (NSO) by leading strategic analytical initiatives and retailer-centric reporting that span across all Nestle categories. The Sr. Analyst designs and deploys custom analytical solutions and team specific scorecards/dashboards to meet the unique needs of the account team(s) they support. They serve as the analytical expert by leading multi-category requests and by providing insights and support to field sales leaders. The Sr. Analyst also plays a lead role on the Enable Hub team, responsible for coaching, training, and onboarding Analysts.
Analytical Expert: Lead the analytical approach/strategy for the team they support. Provide best in class solutions and support to field sales leaders.
- Utilize complex data models to compile analysis and provide recommendations that drive positive ROI for the sales organization
- Strategize, advise and provide ad hoc support for Director/Sr. Managers on opportunities for profitable growth
- Coordinate multi-division reporting and data requests/initiatives for the retailer(s) they support
- Champion the use and application of standard Enable Hub reports to meet the organization’s needs
- Collaborate with the Enable Hub Business Intelligence Analysts (Builders) and category focused Analysts to deliver best-in-class dashboards and scorecards for stakeholders
- Provide superior customer service, being the point of contact for all faucets of Enable Hub support
Retailer Focused Insights & Reporting: Lead and provide retail-focused analytical support.
- Translate and scope complex business needs into reports/analytics that produce clear and actionable insights.
- Maintain a holistic understanding of the retailer and business landscape to proactively provide reporting and insights needed to improve selling capabilities and add customer value through improved analytics, insights, and continuous improvement
- Proactively deliver actionable insights that drive the business and meet the current customer needs
- Provide retail actionable insights into the Commercial Planning Process.
- Seek root-cause and implications to retail concerns.
- Assist with post analysis of key retail initiatives.
- Conduct benchmark analysis for retail or category performance on major initiatives.
- Pull internal data and or retail POS data to support the Business Planning Process with fact-based inputs and actionable insights.
- Provide data /insights that can be used for customer and category selling tools (one pagers).
- Forecast accuracy, sales performance targets, meeting sales goals, segmentation / resource allocation, improving customer service.
- Partner with Hub transform 4Ps analytics and insights into action
- Responsible for timely and effective communication of customer/category and forecast information
Elevate & Expand Enable Hub Support: Responsible for driving continuous improvement within the Enable hub through executing key projects and demonstrating peer to peer leadership. The Sr. Analyst will demonstrate role model behaviors within the Enable Hub by upskilling the analyst community through coaching and onboarding.
- Owns and executes key Enable Hub processes and provides Enable Hub leadership with assistance on complex projects/initiatives.
- Lead onboarding, provide continuous development, and fosters team collaboration for the Analysts on their respective Enable Hub team
- Own the deployment and training of Enable Hub resources
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales analytics and reporting
- Proficiency with Circana and/or other syncicated data, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi data management and data visualization.
- Experience manipulating, managing, and drawing insights from large amounts of data
- Experience driving insights and storytelling through the use of data.
- Proven ability to routinely lead and foster collaboration among teammates
- Ability to take initiative and drive improvement across the organization
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Organization and accuracy skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the sales fundamentals
- Strong judgement in decision making, good problem-solving skills, and thinks strategically
- Doesn’t hesitate to act and takes the initiative to execute with minimal supervision
- Takes immediate action to resolve issues or potential issues, ensuring stakeholders are properly communicated to about the potential impact
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
