Sales & Ops Manager Denver

We are seeking an experienced sales & operations manager to help oversee daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing across multiple interrelated functions. This is both a strategic and tactical position, splitting time between process improvement and hands-on daily requirements. This person will have regular communication with our vendors, shippers, sales team, and customers. This is a key position in our growing organization.
Duties And Objectives
- Handle sales with existing house accounts
- Help manage new inbound leads and direct them to the appropriate contacts
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Partner with cross-functional team members to achieve sales & productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Grow Sales
Responsibilities
- Support a growing team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Management of open orders, insuring both accurate and on-time shipments.
- Oversight of ordering from sales to fufillment
- Warehouse Processes; Receiving, Pick/Pack/Ship, Material Handling and Storage.
- Warehouse Efficiency and Expansions.
- Inventory Management and Cycle Count Program.
- Management of Operations team, including hiring requirements.
- Facilities upkeep.
- Work closely with production and finance teams to forecast inventory requirements
- Oversee purchasing
- Oversee logistics & manage carrier relationships
- Conduct safety reviews and ensure compliance
- Provide excellent customer service and support sales team
- Perform Quality controls and oversee production KPIs
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices to ensure the company's services meet or exceed customer expectations
- Strategize and implement process improvements to maximize staff production
- Identify and fix any internal breakdowns in quality control, communication or production activities
Required skills and qualifications
- 4+ years experience in Operations and/or Sales Management
- Willingness to be a working, hands-on Manager
- Attention to detail is a must
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- Denver, CO 80229: Reliably commute to work (required)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities
- Knowledge of business ERP software and an aptitude for learning new applications
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
- Working knowledge of management software programs, including NetSuite, Hubspot, Paycom Payroll Software
- Strong IT skills, including database reporting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
