Inside Sales Representative
Job Objective: To provide advanced administrative and sales-related functions that ensure outstanding customer service while working directly with and supporting outside sales associates on medium to large customer accounts.
Core Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with corporate management
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Addresses customer requests and resolve customer complaints utilizing company tools & resources
- Enter quotations, orders and requests for credit promptly, completely and accurately
- Follow-up on bids due to expire, orders, backorders, open quotations, and outstanding PO’s
- Provide accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information to customers
- Source and procure direct shipment, special, and rush order items in a cost effective and timely manner
- Works with outside sales associates to grow assigned account base and service accounts more effectively
- Maintain and update customer and associate distributor pricing
- Provide customer with information about new products, services and promotional offerings
- Communicate company policies and procedures
- Inform purchasing agent or shared purchasing centers of product needs and potential product shortages
- Process credits on returned and defective material
- Assist in preparation of job quotes, stock list quotations, folders, and submittals upon request
- Coordinate deliveries with the shipping manager, warehouse manager, or supplier
- Assist in CVP presentations
- Work on Equipment Loan Agreements
- Assist in building and maintaining customer target list
- Generates business by conducting sales calls (cold calling)
- Communicate openly and efficiently with other sales associates to provide them with information
- Assist in other areas of location as needed (warehouse, etc.)
- Work overtime as needed

Requirements - Inside Sales Representative
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience or any sales internship experience.
