About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible and adaptable person! This is a hybrid position in which you will primarily operate as our Lead Home Maintenance Technician (2-3 days per week) in addition to a role as sales representative (2-3 days per week). As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your excellent customer service skills in a unique way, combining technical skills along with sales. As our Lead Maintenance Technician, you'll perform interior/exterior preventative maintenance services on residential and multi-plex units. You should have excellent customer service skills, confident communication, ability to troubleshoot in the field, a high level of organization skills, leadership qualities, and professionalism. Field experience and/or willingness to learn quickly, including the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule is expected. As our Sales Representative your role will include generating leads, contacting real estate agents, property, facility and HOA managers, and building long-term client relationships to grow the business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative home maintenance on residential and multi-plex properties (solar panel cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, exterior window washing, rain gutter cleaning, roof washing, and more)
- Identify and recommend additional services to meet customer needs
- Provide excellent customer service/satisfaction and build strong client relationships
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and sales activities
- Be a builder; develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Identify new potential customers and market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client's needs
- Attend weekly networking meetings as needed
- Preferred experience in home maintenance, related field or affinity to learn these skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to perform above maintenance tasks
- Previous work experience in sales preferred
- Knowledge of CRM (ServiceMinder) software or ability to learn
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
