Your Contribution
- Performs field construction observation, when necessary, under minimal supervision
- Works with industry experts to develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance programs for public and private clients
- Engages in various forms of environmental monitoring, either independently or as part of a dedicated team
- Reduces and compiles environmental monitoring results to develop comprehensive reports
- Assists in the development of essential environmental permits (e.g., air, water, solid waste, etc.) playing a crucial role in facilitating environmental and regulatory compliance
- Additional responsibilities may include survey, environmental and geotechnical sampling, and field activity schedule coordination
Your Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred) in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Possess the ability to adapt and adjust as challenges present themselves
- Hands-on experience with environmental or geotechnical sampling of soil, surface water, groundwater, or landfill gas is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to travel for field work as required
- Excellent client and team communication
- Strong technical writing skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Current OSHA 40-hour training for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
