Job Description

Hamister Group, LLC is hiring a Regional Director of Hotel Sales to drive revenue generation for our portfolio of twelve (12) hotels.
The Regional Director of Hotel Sales will be responsible for overseeing the sales efforts of the properties, providing strong strategic and tactical direction to the property. This includes monitoring sales activity, pace, and production. Support the properties in account management, and development and execution of sales plans. Keen understanding of market trends, intuitive networking, and adept negotiation skills are necessary for success. The Regional Director of Sales will report to the Vice President.

Job Functions:
  • Demonstrate consistent RevPAR index growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales directors providing ongoing training to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, online travel agencies, and other key accounts to drive business and secure repeat bookings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related.
  • Five (5) years of hospitality sales experience. Multi-hotel and/or multi-brand sales experience is advantageous.
  • Must office from corporate headquarters. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel may be overnight.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must possess strong sales and negotiation skills. Proven prospecting and new business development abilities.
  • Ability to source and recruit sales talent.
  • Experience with sales systems such as SalesPro.
