Teine is looking for a Surface Land Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Team Lead. This role focuses on providing proactive and independent administrative support to the Surface Land Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management of surface assets in Alberta, requiring up-to-date expertise in Alberta land administration.
  • Responsible for managing and updating surface land records, databases, and schedules, leveraging CS Land software expertise.
  • Work collaboratively to obtain surface rights for Alberta Crown and Freehold lands, ensuring accurate documentation for audits.
  • Provide administrative support to the area Coordinator.
  • Address both internal and external inquiries related to surface land matters.
  • Process vendor updates, damage releases, annual rental updates, and issue related payment cheques.
  • Manage Reclamation Certificates and maintain records for terminated files.
  • Support environmental and regulatory groups on abandonment and maintenance projects.
  • Issue Road Use and Third-Party Agreements as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Surface Land Administration.
  • Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate from a recognized Land program.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CS Explorer, with familiarity in Mapping/GIS software.
  • Self-directed with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
