Summary: Schrock Business is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Account Representative to oversee and expand our Lincoln, Nebraska client market. In this role, you will act as a liaison between Schrock Business clients and our technical team, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. You will be responsible for identifying client needs, working with the technical team to facilitate effective solutions, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management. Additionally, you will support business development efforts aimed at growing our client base and increasing market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and sign new business agreements by attending networking events, conducting cold calls, and scheduling sales meetings.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients, acting as a primary point of contact for all business IT concerns.
  • Client Consultation: Assess clients' hardware, software, and networking needs, to recommend appropriate services or upgrades. Conduct needs analysis to understand client goals and challenges.
  • Service Coordination: Work closely with the technical team to ensure that client service needs are met efficiently, including hardware maintenance, technical assistance, and ongoing IT support.
  • Account Management: Regularly follow up with clients to ensure continued satisfaction, provide feedback on services, and introduce new services or improvements as needed.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and leadership teams to create and implement sales strategies, including identifying key market segments and driving growth in those areas.
  • Quoting and Contracts: Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs. Negotiate terms and close deals.
  • Market Expansion: Actively participate in community events, chamber of commerce meetings, and other networking opportunities to increase Schrock Business's visibility in the Lincoln market.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Mac and Windows operating systems, computer hardware, networking (switches and servers), and proficiency in the MS Office Suite. Ability to assess and articulate IT solutions to meet clients’ needs.
  • Experience in sales and/or account management within the managed services industry (MSP).
  • Strong ability to cultivate professional relationships through in-person and virtual networking. Demonstrated experience in managing and growing client portfolios.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide tailored solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management in IT services, MSPs, or technology sectors.
  • Previous experience in the Lincoln market or surrounding areas.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for equipment handling.
  • Will require frequent travel within assigned territory or area.
