Position Overview

As a leading contract manufacturer specializing in sheet metal fabrication and electro-mechanical assemblies, we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Sales Professional that will be responsible for developing and maintaining client/customer relationships to drive sales of sheet metal manufacturing and electro-mechanical assembly products and solutions. This role combines technical knowledge with relationship building skills to identify opportunities to develop and deliver customized solutions to meet client needs. Any experience or ability to read technical prints, understand fabrication and assembly processes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the sheet metal fabrication and electro-mechanical assembly sectors through prospecting, networking and market research within the territory.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events and networking functions and activities.
  • Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and exceptional service to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct technical product demonstrations, tours and presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Analyze customer and prospect needs and collaborate with internal teams to clearly understand their requirements and translate them into customized and actional solutions, whether product, consultation or technical support.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM system.
  • Acquire and understanding of fabrication processes, including laser cutting, stamping, bending, welding and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Coordinate the transition of projects from sales to production, ensuring clear communication and understanding of customer requirements.
  • Assist in managing timelines, resources, and project milestones to ensure timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering a plus, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal verbal, written, presentation and skills result oriented.
  • Knowledge and track record in identifying and developing new markets and growing existing business within OEM's.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
