Medical Cannabis Sales Representative

We're actively seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team. As a strategic thinker with a passion for patient care, serving as the primary contact, you'll take charge of managing relationships with cannabis clinics across Canada. In this pivotal role, you'll not only cultivate impactful relationships at all levels of the industry, including customers and relevant associations, but also drive sales growth through your expertise and connections
Essential Functions of Medical Cannabis Sales Representative:
- Develop and execute a strategic National and Regional plan to maximize patient growth, sales potential and broaden Emblem’s market reach.
- Ensure clinic partners are kept informed and up to date with the latest Emblem product launches and programs, facilitating smooth integration and maximizing partnership effectiveness.
- Accountable for identifying and pursuing new business prospects with clinic partners, external marketplace opportunities and other opportunities to expand Emblem’s reach and strategic patient growth.
- Keep up to date with market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform our go-to-market strategies and adapt to industry trends.
- Leverage and analyze sales data to uncover trends and craft targeted strategies. Present insights relating to sales performance and trends.
- Foster strong relationships with key customers, industry leaders, and external partners to promote collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Propose innovative solutions to address market challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Evaluate go-to-market strategies against peer LPs and industry trends; keep the medical team appraised of new developments and trends.
- Develop solutions for strategic gaps in our approach.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table
- 5 years of progressive sales experience
- Preferred post-secondary education with a focus in business or commerce
- Relevant medical cannabis experience or industry is an asset
- Strong relationships building, problem solving abilities, and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for identifying and seizing new opportunities.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $65,000.00 per year
