Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

It is the primary duty of the Sales Manager to enhance the revenue and profit of the Company. The Sales Manager works effectively with Sales Representatives and Customers to meet Company objectives and Customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Motivating and advising Sales Representatives to improve their performance.
  • Hiring and training new Sales Representatives and other Sales staff.
  • Achieve growth and exceed sales goals by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the Company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  • Recruiting, setting objectives and goals, coaching, training, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, expense reports and realistic forecasts on time.
  • Ensure that the sales department work meets the needs of other departments.
  • Manage and maintain CRM software, Salesforce.
  • Meet weekly with Sales Representatives, making sure Salesforce Opportunities are updated, accurate and complete.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Maintain Company's best interests in business dealings through professional and ethical conduct.
  • Travel as budgeted, authorized and approved.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative (with some management skills) or the sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and construction industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Knowledge and work experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
