Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Representative to join our sales team. This role focuses on selling batteries and chargers through both lift truck dealer channel sales, and direct to user customers with larger fleets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and demonstrate exceptional skills in lead generation, product demonstrations, and building lasting customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales goals.
- Conduct cold calling to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including upselling existing customers on additional products or services.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business to business outside sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong skills in lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel within the territory.
Compensation
Pay includes 54K base plus opportunity for significant commission. A candidate who succeeds in this role should generate annual income of more than double the base pay.
