Job Title: Advertising Executive (Ad Sales Focus)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advertising Executive with a primary focus on ad sales for our growing digital & print magazine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media, a strong understanding of the advertising landscape, and a proven track record in driving revenue through ad sales in both print and digital environments. This role requires someone who is not only a skilled salesperson but also adept at building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for digital advertising.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, presenting customized advertising solutions that align with their marketing objectives.
  • Conduct warm calling to prospective clients to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Manage client accounts by providing exceptional service and support throughout the advertising process.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, handling negotiations, contracts, and ad placements
  • Utilize technical sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of our advertising solutions.
  • Track and report on sales performance, including revenue, pipeline, and forecasts
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in advertising.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a proven track record of success in print or digital media
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and goals
  • Strong network of client relationships within the advertising industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and digital sales platforms

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in business development with a focus on expanding client portfolios.
  • Proficient in warm calling techniques to establish rapport with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of technical sales processes, particularly in technology sales environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas clearly.
  • Strong account management skills to maintain positive client relationships.
  • Familiarity with market analysis techniques to assess advertising effectiveness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $53,036.00 - $60,444.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
