Position Title
Sales Representative – Greater Vancouver, BC
Basic Function and Scope
Under direct supervision of the Regional Sales Director, this role is responsible for basic, task-specific sales activities focused primarily on growing the McKillican product portfolio market share in their assigned and targeted customer segments.
Market Stewardship
- Profitably grow sales and margin dollars for all assigned accounts in an established territory.
- Accurately plan and forecast territory sales and margin potential at customer level.
- Provide exceptional and professional salesmanship, acumen, and customer service with a focus on “program selling” versus “maintenance”.
- Finds thrill in the grind of discovering and relentlessly pursuing new business.
Technical Accountabilities
- Effective at balancing both a physical and digital presence within the territory.
- Digitally proficient in CRM, Social Media, Online Presentations, online selling processes and possess a desire to have a competitive lead in those areas.
- Accountable for knowing, understanding, and fully executing the McKillican Sales Model Process
- Proficient with all assigned product lines in the different product categories.
- Accountable for continually developing and mastering the strong sales skills and habits. This is a relentless pursuit to increase skill sets and performance in the field.
- Communicates very effectively in both verbal and written formats and in a proactive manner.
Behavioral Accountabilities

Supervisory Relationships
- Position reports to the Regional Sales Director
Experience
- Min. 3-5 years of sales and customer service experience
