What you'll be doing:
- Account Development: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with mining clients across BC, Alberta, and the Yukon.
- On-the-Ground Sales: Visit mine sites regularly, driving business through cold calls, networking, and client meetings.
- Solution Selling: Focus on project-based, technical sales tailored to the unique needs of mining operations.
- Client Proposals: Deliver comprehensive evaluations, recommend innovative solutions, and prepare compelling proposals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
What you need:
- Industry Sales Expertise: A minimum of 3 years selling products or services into the mining sector, with a well-established network of industry contacts.
- Hunter Mentality: Self-driven to develop new accounts and increase sales volume, with a track record of successful cold calling and lead generation.
- Mining Knowledge: Familiarity with mining operations and dewatering or related solutions is essential.
- Relationship Focus: Strong ability to build trust and long-term partnerships with clients.
- Field-Ready Mindset: Comfortable with up to 75% travel, including frequent visits to remote sites.
