We’re looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative & Account Manager with a go-getter attitude to join our team!

You live in or near the Houston metroplex. You’re a positive, self-motivated, and energetic sales professional with experience in the multifamily or construction industry. You’re highly personable and enjoy building relationships with customers and hunting for new leads through cold call visits, emails, and phone calls. You have a growth mindset, and you’ll wake up every day excited to grow Vima’s business in the South Texas and Coastal region.

We’re Vima Décor, a volume multifamily supplier that specializes in renovation and new construction finishing materials. We have an office and showroom in Ausitn, and an office, showroom, and 110,000 SQFT distribution center in Dallas which stocks everything from cabinets and granite, to lighting, faucets, sinks, backsplash, flooring, bath accessories, and more! Primary Job Functions:

  • Travel from business to business (apartment communities, corporate multifamily management offices, contractor offices) to build relationships and produce new sales.
  • Actively plan and manage your own call schedule to adequately cover your assigned territory in a productive, time-efficient manner. Your territory will include South Texas and the coastline including Houston, Beamont, Victoria, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, and all areas in-between.
  • Present Vima product offerings during face-to-face sales meetings.
  • Consistently engage with prospects to convert them into buying customers – Close the sale!
  • Maintain your relationships with current customers to cultivate ongoing sales.
  • Periodically attend industry trade shows and networking events. These are usually local but will occasionally require air travel, and often fall outside of normal business hours (weekday evenings – typically less than once a month).
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer information in our company’s ERP system. Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Prepare presentations, quotes, and arrange product sample deliveries.
  • Process your customer’s sales orders from entry all the way through billing and shipment tracking.
  • As needed, walk properties to measure unit types for cabinets, countertops, blinds, and collect fixture counts. Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with this process, we’ll train you!
  • Regularly submit required reports to our management team.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about growing business and winning sales
  • Independently motivated and able to self-manage as this is a remote, non-office position
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Reliable vehicle and ability to travel locally up to 70% of the time
  • Strong computer skills, understanding of Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
  • Must live in/near Houston
  • B2B sales experience, preferably in multifamily or construction

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Must have flexibility to occasionally start work early (ex. 8am presentation) and work late (ex. 5-8pm event).

Salary & Benefits:

$55K - $75K Base Salary + Uncapped Sales Commission – While we do have a small customer base in the Houston area, this is a new territory with HIGH earning potential for the right candidate.
